System Control by Speech Recognition:
Description: The project was aimed to made the user interface with the system more easier. It interpretes the input signals i.e. voice commands and perform the specified actions.It is also able to utter sounds of warning messages.The software uses the windows speech API(SAPI). Windows speech engine was used to interprate the signals . Further the project has been extended to speech to text convertor.

Implementation of an Example of Unified Communication (Ongoing):
Description: The project is aimed to access the gmail account of a user using java gmail APIs
and whenever any new mail is received by the user a notification will be send to the user's mobile phone containing the senders email-id and the subject of the mail.

Presented the project System Control by Speech Recognition in Technex '08 .
2nd Runner up in “RoboSoccer” in Quark '08 – a first year technical event of the institute.
