Organizations seeking new technologies and partners list their R&D Requirements under http://www.ideawicket.com/Research-and-Development-Requirements. The desired outcome is usually a joint development/licensing/acquisition or other partnership/supplier agreement.

Idea Pool is a public repository of non confidential ideas and projects that innovators wish to share with everyone. This is ideal for patented products, college projects and non confidential research that you want to promote to a worldwide audience.

If you are looking for an innovation buyer/collaborator please mention-

- If there is a functioning prototype
- If the product has already been accepted in the market (even if it is on a small scale)
- If Intellectual Property has been protected through a Patent, Copyright etc
- Relative Merits of your product
- Who will be interested in your product (Non Profits, Business Corporations, Government , Entrepreneurs etc.)



Ideawicket is free for solution providers. There is no charge for solution providers to sign up and submit proposals for Corporate R&D requirements. Solution providers also do not have to pay Ideawicket if you enter into a transaction with the innovation seeker (joint development / licensing / acquisition agreement etc).


There is no fee for innovators to list their work in the Idea Pool.



Solution providers are advised to submit only non confidential information in response to corporate R&D Requirements. Submissions made for Corporate R&D Requirements are only available to the organization that has listed the requirement and are not visible in any public section of the Ideawicket website.


Similarly, please only post non confidential information in the Idea Pool.


You should only share information that you have already made public before or that you have protected through a patent, trademark, copyright, design registration etc. If you are planning to patent your innovation please note that sharing your unpatented innovation may take away your ability to patent it later. For more information please visit the Office of the Controller General of Patents, Designs, Trademarks for India, United States Patent and Trademark Office, The UK Patent Office, the European Patent Office or the relevant intellectual property authority for your region.



It typically takes 8 to 12 weeks for most organizations to evaluate submissions and revert to you.
