Description


Are you proud of your college project? Did you pour your heart and soul into developing something new that you now want the world to see! Enter your project into Ideawicket's 'India's Top College Project Contest 2010'. This is a public competition where all entries will be visible to site visitors for scoring and commenting. You can keep track of your position through the Leader Board. Please only submit 'non-confidential' content. Images and videos are encouraged. Projects will be ranked on the basis of viewer rating.

Award


Top 10 project holders will be profiled on Ideawicket. The winning 10 projects get a trophy and 'Certificate of Appreciation' from Ideawicket.



Rules

  1. Contest means Ideawicket's "Top College Project Contest 2010".


  2. By participating in the Contest you agree to all the terms and conditions that govern this site in addition to the Contest Terms and Conditions.


  3. You must be 18 years or older and a resident of India to be eligible for the Award.

  4. You must be currently enrolled in an educational institution to be eligible for the contest. (Non-students can use the Idea Pool to showcase their innovative projects)

  5. To participate in this Contest, Participant needs to register on the Ideawicket website and upload a project (undergraduate or postgraduate) done by him/her in college. The minimum length is 1000 characters (approximately 200 to 250 words). The winner will be the project that receives the highest score between June 1, 2010 and November 30, 2010. Each site user can score a project from 1 to 5. A minimum score of 100 is required to qualify for the Award. This is a public contest and the project entries will be visible to all site visitors. Other users will be able to score your project and comment on it. The entries will be visible on the site even after the expiry of the contest. Project entries are not editable but can be deleted by the participant.

  6. For projects done in groups, the person who posted the project on Ideawicket will be eligible for the trophy. The letter of Appreciation will be made out in the name of all group members. The primary Participant is responsible for furnishing the details of the other group members (who cannot exceed 4 in number)

  7. The project must be a genuine project that you have worked on. All irrelevant content/junk entries will be deleted. Ideawicket's decision on project genuineness and relevance will be final and binding.

  8. The project must not be a project that has already been posted on Ideawicket earlier.

  9. The project submitted must be your own original work and 'non-confidential'. Your real name will appear on the Leader Board next to your project title.

  10. The project must not infringe upon another person's intellectual property or other rights.

  11. Only projects submitted from June 1st to November 30th 2010 through the 'Post Your Project' button are eligible for the contest. Please be careful that you submit your entry for the contest and not in the Idea Pool.

  12. Ideawicket reserves the right to change the duration of the contest.

  13. Ideawicket's decision in regard to the winning projects shall be final. No communication or objection shall be entertained in this regard.

  14. Ideawicket can disqualify and delete any entry at any time without assigning any reason whatsoever. Creating false accounts to score your project may disqualify you from the contest.

  15. The Award may be sent by courier service. Ideawicket shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) due to loss of post or courier and or during the delivery of the Award to the winner.

  16. Ideawicket reserves the right to amend, withdraw or revise these rules and the Award at any time without notice and in such event Ideawicket shall not have any liability whatsoever.

  17. Ideawicket reserves the absolute right to cancel or terminate the Contest at any time or to accept or reject any or all entries at its absolute discretion without giving any prior notice and or without assigning any reason whatsoever.
