Abstract
A global OTC Pharma products group with offices in the UK is seeking technologies and approaches that enable the specific targeting and/or selective adherence to the throat mucosa.

Background
Sore throat lozenges and treatments provide temporary relief for sore throats, however this does not tend to be sufficiently long-lasting for sufferers. Technologies, approaches and delivery systems are sought that enable selected materials (actives or soothing/protective agents) to remain in place against the target area (sore throat) to provide more effective relief and keeping the actives working locally for longer.
